The published walkthrough recommends Andrei’s ring for Ocha’s ritual. The cleaver and pendant fail that step, and using the ring still does not save Andrei.
The ritual item choice
| Item | Reported ritual result |
|---|---|
| Andrei's ring | The ritual works, but Andrei dies |
| Cleaver | The ritual fails and combat follows |
| Pendant | The ritual fails and combat follows |
Why is this not a peaceful solution?
A successful ritual and a surviving character are different outcomes. The guide's ring recommendation concerns completing Ocha's plan, not saving Andrei.
Later choices need separate attention
Attacking directly, delaying other objectives, and later advice can affect the chain. This page does not provide a fully tested route through every subsequent state. Keep a manual save before the ritual and read each new objective.
For the specific prompt, use the ring, cleaver, or pendant comparison.
